The Flight Doctor
Meeting All Your Aviation Needs
The Flight Doctor was founded in 1985 in Burley, Idaho (BYI), in a small 40'X50' facility that could accommodate one aircraft at a time. The shop had been around for many years and had accumulated an impressive collection of tools as well as stories. With those tools came the realization that we could provide quality aviation services to our valley. We started simple, with one customer at a time until the workload required more room. We then added an additional 80'X80' workspace to the growing business.
In 2001 The Flight Doctor expanded to Caldwell, Idaho (EUL), to provide the same quality services to general aviation aircraft while increasing our support for agricultural aircraft like AirTractor, Dromader M-18's, and Thrush Aircraft. We also built out full support for (SEAT Planes) single-engine air tankers maintenance and conversions. This expansion led to installing turbine engines on a growing number of aircraft, and Turbine Installation, LLC. was formed to be the STC holder. Our services have continued to grow with satisfied customers on three continents.
